Program Rules:
A referring agent is eligible to receive a $250 referral bonus per referred agent. There is no limit on the number of referral bonuses. Referred agent must place their first paid application within six months of contracting with Cornerstone, and the referral bonus applies only to commissionable cases and products with override compensation. Bonuses are paid quarterly. Referrals only accepted from agents contracted with Cornerstone. New agents under a contracted agency or sub-GA do not qualify the agency or sub-GA for a referral bonus. Cornerstone reserves the right to revise the program rules or to terminate the program at any time without notice or compensation. Cornerstone will make all decisions regarding the program qualifications and all Cornerstone decisions are final. Any bonus payout will be reported on Form 1099, as required by the Internal Revenue Service. All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt of a program bonus are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Under applicable state law, agents may be required to disclose to the insured or applicant the programs under which they are eligible for compensation, including base commissions, bonuses, incentives, or other forms of remuneration for which the agent is eligible for the sale or renewal of insured products.
